Richard Poulette's latest recording bridges three worlds, combining Mi'kmaq culture, country music, and spiritual expression in song. Let Go, Let God, includes ten songs written by Richard that show his ability as a prolific songwriter and gifted singer.
Lone Cloud is from Truro, Nova Scotia and is nominated for a 2010 East Coast Music Award for Aboriginal Recording of the Year.
Gary Sappier is a multi-instrumentalist, whose unique music is a combination of Aboriginal flavour mixed with contemporary rock. The ever-changing face of rock never scares this group. Big drums, big guitar and out front vocals deliver a recipe of pure rock adrenaline, that will leave the audience screaming for more.
Forever is a hard driving East Coast rock band. This seven-time award winning and fifteen time award nominated group is a mix between Soundgarden and Shinedown and bring their own unique brand of high energy rock.
The 2010 Cape Breton event is an annual event organized by the East Coast Music Association as a critical part of its mission statement. The 2010 event will take place in Sydney, NS from March 4-7, 2010.
