ECMA 2010 Conference Sessions are Interactive!

(Sydney, NS) – This year’s East Coast Music Association Conference is going global. Marcato Digital Solutions, in partnership with Shot on Site Media, are offering five conferences via interactive web stream at ECMA 2010 in Sydney this weekend. Through this technology, viewers need not be in Cape Breton – or even Canada – to fully enjoy these music industry sessions.
By logging on to www.marcatodigital.com/ecma online viewers can take part in the conference by posting questions in a live chat environment. Presenters at the conference will reply to posted content various points during the sessions.
“This is a huge step forward for bringing Cape Breton content to the world through the implementation of innovative technology,” Darren Gallop, CEO of Marcato Digital Solutions. “It also allows anyone with an Internet to join in ECMA 2010 here in Sydney, and also participate in these sessions. Hopefully, this is implemented in future conferences.”

Saturday, March 6

3 p.m. – DIY Indie Town Hall – 10 Things An Indie Band Should Be Doing Right Now – (Membertou Trade and Convention Centre – Jenu Room)
4:30 p.m. – Touring Down Under ‘Sydney Meets Sydney’ – A Case Study on Australia (Membertou Trade and Convention Centre)
The 2010 Cape Breton event is an annual event organized by the East Coast Music Association as a critical part of its mission statement. The 2010 event will take place in Sydney, NS from March 4-7, 2010.
