East Coast Music Week 2013 International Export Buyers Program Delegate Recruitment

WE ARE SEEKING YOUR INPUT!

The East Coast Music Association is thrilled to be presenting the 12th annual International Export Buyers Program taking place March 6-10, 2013 during the 25th anniverary celebration of East Coast Music Week in Halifax, NS

This program is designed to create and build export business opportunities for ECMA members. It inspires to provide an international marketplace that will offer a variety of export business development opportunities including the ‘Canadian Music East Coast Style’ International Export Buyers Showcases, Live Performance Pitch Sessions, enhanced one-on-one meetings and the programming of advanced professional development conference sessions. The program will also offer members numerous opportunities to network with the international delegates, domestic buyers and media.

Some of the world’s leading music industry experts and international buyers will be taking part in ECMW 2013. Delegates and music buyers from the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada will be in attendance. These international and domestic guests include talent buyers, presenters, booking agents, festivals, programmers, promoters, publishers, digital and social media experts and media. ECMA’s long standing Music & Image Program in partnership with the Atlantic Film Festival Association will welcome a stellar lineup of international representatives including music placement supervisors from the film, television, gaming and new media industries.

Each year, the ECMA International Export Buyers Program's recruitment process contains input from exporting members, artists, managers, and companies as well as an Export Advisory Committee knowledgeable in targeted markets. The objective of these efforts is to identify possible international delegates that are currently doing business, or are open to doing business with Atlantic Canadian artists and/or companies.  The 2013 Industry Conference will include top industry experts in the fields of technology, social media and viral marketing, export training, new digital platforms and a variety of international business development sessions reflecting the current global marketplace.

To further YOUR International business export activity and/or avenues in these international markets, ECMA is requesting your assistance in identifying KEY international delegates for consideration for the 2013 International Export Buyers Program. These international industry representatives may include talent buyers, promoters, festival programmers, booking agents, film and television music supervisors, labels/ distributors, publishers, presenting music organisations, media etc.

Please forward your recommendations of international delegate’s with complete detailed contact information to ECMA Export Manager Shelley Nordstrom, international@ecma.com by October 26, 2013. Thank you in advance as your input is essential to help create an effective and successful 2013 ECMW Export Buyers Program.
