Isolation Sessions: Mental Illness June 24th at 7PM ADT

The final episode of the East Coast Music Association's Isolation Sessions we discuss Mental Illness with Errin Williams and Ryan Cook.

The session is an in-depth discussion of mental illness through the lens of the music industry. We will go from identifying when you need help to how to access it and all of the acceptance required along the way. We will demystify accessing the medical system when you are experiencing a mental health emergency and how engaging mental health supports can create a healthy balanced lifestyle.

More About Ryan:

Mixing classic country music with modern satire, Ryan Cook forges a sound between contemporary folk and dyed-in-the wool country. With nuances of pop and western swing, Ryan's songbook reminiscences of the early hillbilly pioneers but stays very much in the current landscape.

On stage Ryan has toured as a solo performer opening for artists like Dwight Yoakam, Rosanne Cash, & Travis Tritt. Receiving over 20 award nominations in Canada including three Album of the Year awards, his acoustic live show combines thumb-picking guitar styles, original ballads and classic country from the 1940’s and 1950’s.
