Charlie Jordan is the President of the Great North Woods Center for the Arts (GNWCA), a leading northern New Hampshire arts organization which presents over 20 concerts a year in his region. Formed in 2003, the GNWCA has hosted about 400 concerts, featuring performers from around the globe. Charlie is a founding director of a multi-arts center in Columbia, New Hampshire, called the Great North Woods Center for the Arts, which opened its doors in 2019. Many of the programming he schedules takes place there. Charlie is also the editor and co-owner of the New Hampshire newspaper, the Colebrook Chronicle. He also anchors the online Video News of the Week each Friday which features regional news, as well as video highlights of performances booked by the GNWCA. He is a founding director of the World Trad Forum based in Montreal. He regularly attends festivals and music events in New England, Quebec and Eastern Canada, scouting for performers to bring to his region. An avid music lover of all genres and forms, Charlie plays fiddle in a regional Celtic ensemble called Islay Mist Ceilidh.
