Dimitri Demers is a Senior Talent Buyer for MRG Live, a central division of The MRG Group. The MRG Group’s preeminent concert venues are: The Vogue Theatre, The Imperial and Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, BC; Capital Ballroom in Victoria, BC; and Adelaide Hall in Toronto, ON. MRG Live developed as an amplification of The MRG Group’s entertainment branch and has since established itself as an industry-leading national concert promotion company producing 800+ shows per year across a wide variety of genres. Dimitri was formerly a co-director of Atomique Productions which was Victoria, BC’s leading concert promotion company for 20 years, during which time it produced Rifflandia Festival, Rock The Shores, The Phillips Backyard Weekend, as well as 150+ concerts annually. Dimitri co-founded Atomique in 2000. Going back even further, his involvement with arts and culture in Victoria started in 1994 and spanned concert production, radio broadcasting, DJing, music journalism, and even a term as a board member of Intrepid Theatre (Victoria Fringe Festival).
