Acting as both promoter and presenter, Emma Chevarie has been supporting folk, roots, and singer/songwriter shows in Fredericton for over 18 years. She founded Music Runs Through It (MRTI) in 2012 and has welcomed over 140 artists from around the globe, ranging from established acts to developing artists. The newly established Uptown at Night series in partnership with the Fredericton Inn provides yet another stage to curate. Emma also supports the East Coast music scene as a Live Music Columnist for CBC Information Morning in Fredericton, and through all the MRTI online platforms. Emma co-chaired the East Coast Music Awards 2022 event held in Fredericton and is recipient of the 2022 Fredericton Arts Achievement Award presented by the City of Fredericton. 2022 also saw the successful delivery of Across the Pond project, partnering and touring a New Brunswick and UK artist throughout each NB and the UK.
