Interim Executive Director of Music Nova Scotia, Fiona Diamond, is a veteran of the Nova Scotia music industry. In her role as Vice President at Brookes Diamond Productions, she has been a show producer, talent agent, concert promoter, operations manager and marketing director. She founded and co-produced the Ha!ifax Comedy Fest until 2007, and is co-producer of Nova Scotia's musical spectacular DRUM! and Juba’lee Legacy. She has worked with numerous east coast artists and has promoted concerts with national and international artists from Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn to Jerry Seinfeld. She along with partner, Brookes Diamond, were named “Persons of the Year” by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce for “their outstanding contribution to the quality of life in Halifax” and were awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition for their contributions to Canada. They were honoured to be named to the inaugural Casino Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame.
