Janet Larkman (she/her) is Executive Director of King’s Theatre, a 220-seat historic venue in the Kespukwitk region of Mi’kmaki/Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. She also serves as President of the the Atlantic Presenters Association, a network of performing arts presenters made up of multi-disciplinary organizations that connect artists and audiences in Atlantic Canada. King’s Theatre offers a packed schedule of year-round programming in all genres of the performing and media arts. Offering a high-level of presentation technologies, King’s Theatre has been recognized as an outstanding small venue in Canada. Janet has worked in community and the arts for the past 30 years, with a focus on diversity, community engagement, and a passion for the performing arts.
