Ray is the creator and executive director of Nova Scotia Summer Fest in Antigonish. To date he has booked acts such as Walk Off The Earth, The Trews, Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, Matt Andersen & The Big Bottle of Joy, Classified, Alan Doyle and a long list of other East Coast acts. He recently completed Season Two of his TV series titled Songs & Stories now streaming in Canada on Bell Media featuring Neon Dreams, Jimmy Rankin, Good Lovelies, Ennis Sisters and more. Ray’s performance career included regular mainstage performances at all major US Irish Festivals, American and Canadian tours, performances at Grey Cup 100, Taste of Edmonton and opening for his Celtic music hero’s Spirit of the West. Ray was a 2022 ECMA Nominee as a member of the group Ocean Playground (Contemporary Roots) and as a presenter with Nova Scotia Summer Fest (Event of the Year).
