Sue has been the artistic and executive director of the non-profit Prince George Folkfest Society since 2011, and has been involved with the society since its inception in 2003. PGFFS signature event is Coldsnap – the prince george winter music festival, a nine-day, multi-genre live music festival that happens in the middle of winter in Northern BC on the unceded, ancestral territory of Lheidli T'enneh First Nation. The festival features evening concerts and free daytime events, and brings musicians from all over Canada and the world to experience the beauty of the landscape and the warmth of the people. Almost all music genres are featured from roots and blues to contemporary classical and hip hop. The festival has grown to become a nationally recognized, economically important, culturally significant event for the City and is one of Canada's premier winter music festivals.
