TJ, also known as Tommie Jo, Barnett is the talent buyer for Duling Hall, a 500 capacity venue, and assists in talent buying for all concerts and festivals promoted by Ardenland. Duling Hall is a staple venue in Mississippi bringing over 50+ concerts a year to Mississippi’s capital city. Ardenland, a concert/festival promotion company, brings festivals, concerts, and a lot of fun to the United States south all year round. TJ has played a big role in both companies since 2020 and has a deep love for being an independent venue promoter and advocate for the independent music industry. The project she is most proud of so far in 2023 is Cathead Jam, a two day boutique festival in the middle of downtown Jackson, with artists Goose, The Flaming Lips, Shakey Graves, Larkin Poe, Cimafunk, The Band of Heathens, and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.
