Andrew has worked for almost 30 years in the UK music sector, including programming and consultancy roles with Cheltenham Festivals, Glastonbury and many more. He is vice-chair of the Musician’s Union Members' Assembly and sits on the board of the Ivors Jazz Council as well as Global Local, where he is the creative director of UnMute, an exclusive disabled artist roster. He is the double bassist with popular UK festival band Thrill Collins and in 2025 was named one of the UK’s 100 most influential people in the live events industry.

At the heart of the UK’s cultural scene, Cheltenham Festivals brings four world-class Festivals to life each year – uniting established and emerging artists, writers and thinkers in a shared celebration of Jazz, Science, Music and Literature. The Cheltenham Jazz Festival is a premier 6-day spring event (April 29–May 4, 2026) featuring international headliners, contemporary jazz, and emerging talent in Montpellier Gardens and across town. It includes over 90 free performances, workshops, family events, and late-night jams.
