Chris Blackmore is a multi-faceted, music professional based in Scotland, with a hands-on, artist-focused approach rooted in grassroots music practices. He champions folk and roots artists through his label and promotions company, Holy Smokes Records, while also working across a broad range of genres in festival programming and digital music distribution. He manages a roster of artists including Alice Faye, works in Artist Relations at EmuBands, and serves as a Programmer at Eden Festival, curating diverse line-ups that bring together emerging and international talent.

Eden Festival is an independent, family-friendly, 4-day festival celebrating music, arts and culture. Our 15th edition of the festival takes place from the 11th to the 14th of June 2026. Showcasing both internationally acclaimed artists as well as local up and coming, from Folk, Soul and Electronica to Jazz, Rockabilly, World and everything in between. With more than 250 acts over 10 stages, as well as plenty of cabaret, comedy, kids activities and workshops.
