Dimitri Demers is a Senior Talent Buyer at MRG Live, Canada’s leading independent concert and event company. He books concerts at venues across Western Canada including the Vogue Theatre, Biltmore Cabaret, & Capital Ballroom, and contributes to festival programming for major events including Surrey Canada Day, Surrey Fusion Festival, and Filberg Festival.

Dimitri previously co-founded Atomique Productions, which for more than two decades was a driving force in Victoria BC’s live music scene. Atomique produced major events including Rifflandia Festival, Rock The Shores, and Phillips Backyard Weekender, and presented more than 150 concerts annually. The company also helped launch Capital Ballroom.

Active in Victoria’s arts community since 1994, Dimitri’s career has also included radio broadcasting, DJing, music journalism, and arts governance. He has served as a juror for the JUNO Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards (BreakOut West), East Coast Music Awards, Music PEI Week, and Music BC. He is a Western Canadian Music Award winner for Talent Buyer of the Year.
