Emily is the Executive Director at One Longfellow Square, a 180 seat nonprofit listening room in Portland, Maine. One Longfellow Square (OLS) seeks to cultivate community and nurture artists through the shared joy of live music. OLS has recently expanded offerings to include grant-funded outdoor summer performances, affordable streaming, and free tickets through local public library partnerships. A new Longfellow Emerging Artist Fellowship (LEAF) program will launch later this summer, with support from a deep roster of regional partners.
OLS stages an average of 150 ticketed shows per year and features the work of Folk, Bluegrass, Celtic, Blues, Jazz, Americana, Roots, Rock, local, and genre-defying artists. Booking is handled by Jesse Lundy of Rising Sun Presents. Emily has served on the NERFA Formal Showcase evaluation panel, presented at the NERFA Curator’s showcase, and is a recent recipient of Portland’s 50 Over 50 Award.
