Karson McKeown is a dedicated music professional with deep roots in the traditional and contemporary folk music world. Best known as a founding member of the internationally touring Celtic trio Inn Echo, Karson brings the same curiosity, work ethic, and artist-first mindset to his role as a booking agent with the IBookShows roster.

Karson’s path into the industry was built from the ground up. As a full-time performer, educator, and self-managed artist, he learned the realities of touring by doing—building routes, communicating directly with presenters, and balancing a demanding schedule of performances, teaching, and creative work. Through this hands-on experience, he developed a strong understanding of what makes tours sustainable and relationships lasting, earning trust through clarity, consistency, and care.

Still actively touring and creating new music, Karson offers a rare dual perspective as both agent and artist. He understands the nuances of traditional and roots-based music, as well as the modern realities artists face when building careers today. His goal is to support artists in finding the right opportunities, fostering long-term growth, and ensuring their work is valued—on stage and behind the scenes.
