Kevin Schallie is a versatile figure in the Canadian music industry, known for his work as both a musician and a music industry professional. He began his career in the early 2000s, gaining hands-on experience in music production and live event booking. His passion for music was complemented by an interest in finance, which led him to graduate from the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business Mortgage Brokerage Program in 2005.

Schallie's unique blend of artistic and financial expertise set the stage for his career in the business side of the music industry. In 2012, he began focusing full-time on using both skill sets, and in 2014, he founded Live Acts Canada. Over the years, Schallie has been responsible for producing thousands of live events across Western Canada, collaborating with hundreds of artists and helping to shape the live music scene in the region.

Beyond event production, Schallie is deeply committed to artist development. He provides mentorship to emerging musicians across Canada, helping them navigate the complex landscape of the global music industry. He is also an active grant juror for music organizations, assessing applications and supporting initiatives that foster growth and sustainability in the arts.
