Lisa is the CEO of Showcase Scotland Expo, the national export office for Scottish folk, roots and traditional music, including music in the Gaelic and Scots languages, and founding director of Active Events, an international music agency based in Scotland.

For over 35 years, she has been at the forefront of developing artists’ live careers internationally. Her work has spanned internationally acclaimed artists including Bob Geldof, while her current roster includes Breabach, Capercaillie, Elephant Sessions, Fara and The East Pointers (Europe), alongside other leading acts.

Lisa is widely recognised for her ability to build long-term, sustainable live careers, often guiding artists from grassroots venues to major stages and headline festival appearances. A passionate champion of artists’ rights, she brings together industry expertise with a deep commitment to supporting new and emerging artists and the wider industry, both through Showcase Scotland Expo and across her work in artist development and representation.
