director nationally and internationally, before returning to England. She qualified as a public relations consultant and became Head of PR for Granada TV’s entertainment division, before setting up her own award-winning PR company. In the early 2000’s Marina co-launched Fit The Bill Limited with her husband, providing management and agency representation for artists. The company has produced acclaimed West End theatre shows and place making festivals.
Fit The Bill promotes two major festivals, including The British Country Music Festival, an indoor event held in the UK’s most visited seaside resort of Blackpool. Marina serves as Artistic Director of The Blackpool Dance Board CIC, which promotes the annual festival Capital of Dance. She is also Vice President of The Entertainment Agents’ Association UK and an active member of LIVE UK, the official voice of the UK’s live music industry. The 2026 edition of The British Country Music Festival will take place from 4–6 September.
