Melissa is a music executive, creative strategist, and songwriter advocate with deep roots in both the Canadian and Nashville music industries. She began her career with the launch of 902HipHop, a Halifax-based artist management and music licensing company, where she helped develop the careers of East Coast artists including Quake Matthews, Kayo, and producer Matty Galaxy.

Over the last several years, Melissa has worked closely with major music companies including UnitedMasters and T R A C, contributing to the growth of their sync and artist development initiatives. Her licensing and clearance work includes placements with brands and platforms such as Netflix, ESPN, Hulu, and NBA2K.

Melissa has also expanded her work into Nashville through songwriter camps and creative collaborations, connecting emerging Canadian talent with award-winning writers, producers, and publishers. Known for her instinct for talent and ability to build meaningful industry relationships, she continues creating opportunities that help artists grow their careers across national and international markets.
