Nigel Jenkins is the founder of Laughing Heart Music, an artist management company, record label, and music publisher based in Newfoundland and Labrador. His work focuses on building sustainable, export-ready careers for Canadian artists through strategic planning, funding development, and international market expansion. Nigel has supported artists in securing major grant funding, developing touring strategies, and growing audiences across Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. His management roster includes acclaimed acts such as Rum Ragged, Inn Echo, and Daniel James McFadyen, with recent highlights including multiple international tours, sync placements, tracks spun in rotation on satellite radio, major funding awards, and award wins and nominations for the LHM artist roster.

Current projects include leading export development initiatives across key international markets, building NLVenues.com to strengthen touring infrastructure in Newfoundland and Labrador, and developing mentorship programs for emerging artists in Western NL. Nigel is particularly interested in Folk, Roots, Traditional, and Americana artists, and in connecting artists with meaningful opportunities for long-term career growth.
