Ray Gracewood is the Founder and President of AREA 506, a dynamic organization based in Saint John, NB, that celebrates East Coast music, culture, and local goods. Since 2016 it has evolved into a year-round destination, featuring events such as the AREA 506 Festival, AREA 506 LOUD, and the award-winning AREA 506 Waterfront Container Village. Under Ray’s leadership, the organization now hosts over 100 events annually, establishing one of Canada’s most unique and inspiring outdoor venues. The 11th edition of the AREA 506 festival will take place from July 30 - August 1, 2026.
