RICH AUCOIN is an artist, producer and composer from/based in Nova Scotia. Aucoin has toured all over NA and the EU and as far as Japan, Australia and Brazil. Known for producing euphoric, sweaty dance floors, Aucoin has performed at many world-class festivals including: Mutek (CA), Nuits Sonores (FR), Festival Eletrônika (BR), Berlin Festival, Art Basel (US), Luminato (CA), Best Kept Secret (NL), Treefort (US), Iceland Airwaves, Osheaga (CA) and Fusion Festival (DE) and supported artists like Caribou, Dan Deacon, Girl Talk, Eris Drew, Austra, and Holy Fuck. Long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize twice, won the Prism Prize for “Brian Wilson is A.L.i.V.E.”. In addition to film scoring films like No Ordinary Man (New Yorker Best of 2021 List), Aucoin writes the albums to sync to films, or countries while cycling across them for charities. Aucoin is touring 2x Juno-nominated quadruple album, Synthetic, recorded at the National Music Centre.
