Sarah Atkinson is an artist manager and co-founder of SoundBox Music, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For nearly two decades, she has worked alongside independent artists, helping them build sustainable careers. Her work spans album releases, touring, branding and digital marketing.

She currently manages Cape Breton artist Rose Morrison and focuses on folk, roots, and Celtic music. Known for her hands-on, collaborative approach, Sarah helps artists stay true to their creative vision while building the tools and strategy needed to grow their audience and reach new markets.

Sarah works with artists at all stages of their careers and is passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation - whether that’s through her teaching at NSCC or her time on the board of Music Nova Scotia. She’s driven by a simple goal: helping artists grow their careers in a way that feels both sustainable and true to who they are.
