Simon Henley is a passionate electronic music fan with over ten years of multi-disciplinary experience in the music industry; working with small to high-profile artists and music businesses in roles such as label manager, event producer, audio engineer, artist/musician, A/V technician, and adjudicator. While completing his master's degree in Popular Music & Culture at Leeds Beckett in 2021, where his studies focused on the nature and ways in which electronic music producers make music, Simon began working at Monstercat and currently holds the title of Digital Rights Manager. In this role, he works cross-functionally and with external stakeholders to ensure the accurate collection and distribution of royalties, maintenance of label release metadata, publishing administration, and analytical work.
