The ECMA 2026 Industry Conference: The Business of Music offers three curated streams of programming: Build, Connect and Inspire. Throughout the Conference, participants will develop their career toolkits with professional sessions that offer practical roadmaps to the next stage. Mentorship opportunities will bring artists and industry closer together, with connection and knowledge-sharing. Songcraft workshops will offer space for creativity to flourish.

ECMA Incubator Program
The ECMA 2026 Incubator Program is a professional development toolkit designed to help emerging artists build their skills. Delivered as an online, pre-conference training component of the 2026 ECMA Industry Conference, the program offers educational sessions and mentorship opportunities for artists and industry professionals attending ECMA 2026 in Sydney, Cape Breton.
Virtual sessions will explore a range of topics relevant to today’s music industry.
Don’t miss the Export One-on-One Prep Session on May 6 and 8 as part of the Incubator Program. This tailored training session is designed for export-ready artists, managers, and companies looking to enhance their presentation skills and one-on-one meeting techniques. Participants will gain insight into key strategies for strengthening personal communication styles, elevating their professional presence, and adapting techniques for effective, conversational business meetings.
Music In Motion Sync Summit, Presented in Partnership with the Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada.
The Music in Motion: Sync Summit at ECMA 2026 is designed for artists and industry professionals ready to move beyond the basics of music synchronization. This immersive experience brings together music creators and music supervisors through a series of high-impact, interactive sessions, a curated networking mixer, and more. Attendees will gain practical insight into what music supervisors are looking for, learn about real-world placements from the local community, and build meaningful connections with attending sync delegates, with the aim to bridge the gap between preparation and placement in the sync market.

ECMA 2026 Wellness Program presented by Avalon Employment, MentorAbility Atlantic and Autism@Work
Taking care of yourself is part of the job. This year, ECMA is offering a dedicated Wellness Program at the ECMA Conference Centre, NSCC Sydney Waterfront, running Thursday, May 21 through Saturday, May 23, 9 AM–5 PM daily.
Drop into the Wellness Centre for professional massage therapy, immersive sound bath sessions with Rezound, and a neuro-friendly quiet area to decompress — or book a confidential one-on-one session with Clinical Therapist Errin Williams to talk through whatever's on your mind. Throughout the conference, you'll also find sessions thoughtfully designed with neurodivergent artists and industry professionals in mind, creating space for everyone to engage, connect, and thrive.
ECMA 2026 Music Managers Mentorship Program Presented by MMF Canada
The Music Managers Mentorship Program, presented by MMF Canada, is now closed for mentee submissions.
The Music Managers Mentorship brings together emerging and established managers for knowledge sharing, guidance, and professional development. With opportunities to connect one-on-one in advance of ECMA 2026, along with meetings of the whole cohort on site, participants will gain practical insight, perspective, and support as they develop their management practice.
