Fiona MacGillivray is a young veteran of the music industry. At the age of 11, she cofounded folk quartet The Cottars, with whom she toured internationally as lead singer for over a decade. As the celebrated voice of The Cottars, Fiona performed everywhere from Japan to Australia to Denmark, and on the stages of Boston Symphony Hall, The Kennedy Centre and Carnegie Hall, among others. Fiona and The Cottars recorded four award-winning albums, won ECMAs and Gemini Awards and shared stages with such notables as Elvis Costello, Irish tenor John McDermott, Blue Rodeo, Natalie MacMaster, The Chieftains, The Rankins, Ron Hynes, The Atlantic Symphony, Jann Arden and more. No longer a teenager, Fiona MacGillivray returns to the stage in 2022 with fresh, new, original music, delivered by way of her haunting vocals and supported by her world of professional music experience.
