Greg Turner has been writing and performing music all his life. He’s very well known for his interesting lyrics and multi-chord melodies.
Greg has played on the top of the Alps in Italy, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Venice, and some of the worst dives in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The “Strat” club in Halifax comes to mind; where cattle prods were used in crowd control.
Performers, The Entertainers, Midday on CBC.
Played in the proverbial thousand bands: Stained Glass, Goldrush, Four on the Flour (spelling intentional), Contraband, Men will be Boys.
Because Men Will Be Boys raised over $800,000, Greg and the other members of the band received the Rotary Club’s Paul Harris Humanitarian Award. Currently residing in Nova Scotia with his post-and-beam recording studio, he is song writing full time . . . that is . . . when he’s not handcrafting a hammer dulcimer, Celtic harp, electric basses, guitars, and, of course, acoustic Guitars.
