ccma award winning country artist, jason benoit, hails from the province of newfoundland on the east coast of canada. this small town singer/songwriter knows what country music’s all about, breaking onto the scene in 2013 and since having 4 top 30 hits, one of which,“gone long gone”, made it to number 7 on the canadian country billboard charts.
benoit has been a main stage performer with many major canadian country music festivals such as boots n’ hearts, cavendish beach, and trackside music festivals. he was the only canadian to perform along side amarican country acts kelsea ballerini, chris young, and lady antabellum at the rock the park music festival. he has also performed with many great canadian country artists such as tim hicks, aaron pritchett, meghan patrick, the washboard union, and brett kissell.
in 2017, benoit released his first full length album called “waves” with jv records/sony music canada. shortly after, he signed an exclusive u.s. management deal with the newly formed “d&d endeavors”, gaining the support of influential music executive, “david nathan” who has previously worked with acts such as florida georgia line and taylor swift.
