Jonathan Andrews is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, living in Halifax and Potlotek, Nova Scotia, Canada. He plays solo acoustic with a diverse repertoire of songs including folk, rock, country, blues, originals, and traditional Newfoundland, Irish, and Scottish music.

Jonathan has played with and recorded music with many east coast songwriters and groups including Bend the River, Amelia Curran, Joel Plaskett, Ruth Minnikin, Al Tuck, The Blown Gasket Orchestra, and his band, the middleclass pushovers. He won a 2006 East Coast Music Award for Aboriginal Recording of the year and recorded an album of badly whistled Beatles songs titled Jonathan Andrews Whistles 20 Beatles Hits!
