Deep Hollow Print is an award-winning letterpress printshop and graphic design business owned and operated by Laura MacDonald in North Alton, Nova Scotia. Deep Hollow Print specializes in gig posters, but also creates many other kinds of printed ephemera for musicians and the music industry. Trained at the legendary Hatch Show Print in Nashville, Tennessee, Laura uses antique wood and metal type and original carved linoblocks to create her one-of-a-kind items. Laura prints on a Vandercook No. 3 press, a machine from the 1930s that weighs about 1200 pounds. Laura is a passionate supporter of the music industry and loves to create unique art posters for bands and musicians that they can resell as merchandise.
