Sara Rankin

Sara Rankin is an international award-winning creative designer from Mabou, Cape Breton, and has been known to be Nova Scotia’s go-to gal when it comes to executing cleverly crafted, impactful design. In 5 short years, she’s taken home both a Gold Ice Award & WOLDA Award (Worldwide Logo Design Award) and successfully branched out into the US and UK markets. She was also named one of the “Top 10 Up & Coming Designers” by Designdrizzle.com and was invited to speak and conduct workshops at numerous events, symposiums, and conferences across Nova Scotia. Most recently, she was asked to participate as a judge for the 10th Annual WOLDA Logo competition held in Montreal, CA, and also judge various categories for the 2020 and 2021 Juno Awards. As for her work in the music industry, she designed the 2021 ECMA special edition poster and has worked on various branding, promo and web design projects with numerous East Coast musicians including COIG, BEOLACH, Heather Rankin, Aaron MacDonald & Eddie Cummings and also with a number of East Coast musical venues & production companies including Rockbound Productions, The Red Shoe Pub and Resonant Sound Labs.
