Selina Boland describes her music as “Folk-Pop with a touch of the Atlantic Ocean Breeze”. She is a free-spirited, passionate singer/songwriter and guitarist performing poetic and storytelling songs. Her captivating stage presence invites listeners to suspend their realities into her remarkable voice and haunting melodies.
Selina has released several albums, music videos, been recognized both locally and nationally in song writing contests, was nominated by MusicNL for Female Artist of the Year and Pop Rock Recording of the Year in 2015, and has performed countless venues including festivals, concerts, cafes, and pubs throughout eastern and western Canada as well as the United States and Europe. Selina has also shared the stage with well known bands like Port Cities, The Fortunate Ones, Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea), Tim Baker (Hey Rosetta!),The Once, Sherman Downey, Shanneyganock..etc. In September, 2018 she was invited to perform at Live at Heart Festival in Sweden and after performing there she has since been invited back.
Most recently, she released her third album called The Cold and promoted it across Europe in July, 2019. She is currently back in Newfoundland performing regularly and writing new songs for her next album release in Jan, 2020.
