An Update from the ECMA Team

Greetings from ECMA Headquarters! We're looking forward to the 2021 East Coast Music Awards: Festival & Conference this May 5-9 in Sydney, NS and are working with government departments and industry stakeholders to deliver an event that's safe and comfortable for everyone involved.

Our host community is excited to have us back in Sydney for the 33rd ECMAs. We will comply with whatever public health measures are in place at the time, but we are planning and hoping for a hybrid event, with both in-person and online elements; a first of its kind as we start down the road to recovery for the Atlantic music industry.

Our thoughts are always with our members. We know the challenges you are experiencing and we recognize the need for the music community to gather as best it can, in a safe and supportive environment. We'll also be using new skills we honed in 2020, to provide initiatives around mental health, virtual education, and artist development via a robust online program for those who can't join us in person.

Our East Coast community has been a wonderful source of inspiration over the years, and we're working hard to make ECMA 2021 the best it can be, for you. COVID-19 has changed so many parts of our daily lives, but it hasn't changed people's passion for music. The music will get us through.
