(St. John’s, NL) - The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) is thrilled to announce the lineup for the 2025 SOCAN Songwriters’ Circle, presented by KBRS and the host and performers for the 37th East Coast Music & Industry Awards, as part of ECMA 2025 in St. John’s, May 7-11.
This year’s SOCAN Songwriters’ Circle will be hosted by Carleton Stone (NS) and Kellie Loder (NL) and will feature performances by Kelly McMichael (NL), Jah’Mila (NS), Old Man Luedecke (NS), Ben Chase (PE), Donovan Woods (ON), and Quote The Raven (NL). A longstanding ECMA tradition, the SOCAN Songwriters’ Circle is an intimate and inspiring event and spotlights the heart and soul of East Coast music and its songwriters and will take place at the JAG Soundhouse on Sunday, May 11, beginning at 4 p.m.

The 37th East Coast Music & Industry Awards, presented by Needs, celebrates the incredible talent and achievements of the region’s music community, and will take place at the JAG Soundhouse on Sunday, May 11, beginning at 11 a.m. Hosted by Cape Breton’s charismatic and longtime music industry professional Stephen Antle, the event will present 32 awards and feature performances by Baraka (NL), Noah Malcolm (PEI), Rachel Davis & Darren McMullen with special guest Zakk Cormier (CB/PEI) AND Port-Aux-Poutines (NL), with Ana & Eric (NL) performing in the pre-show.
