Andrea England is fully immersed in both the creative and business sides of the music industry. The current sole East Coaster on the Board of Directors of the Songwriters Association of Canada, Nova Scotian-born England is the founder/host of Canada’s bucket-list songwriter series, Four Chords & the Truth. A respected songwriter/artist — she’s released three albums, Lemonade, Hope & Other Sins, produced by Grammy-winning producer, Colin Linden, and the newly released Evidence of Love, produced by Juno Award winner Hill Kourkoutis — and in-demand songwriter, England cowrites and has landed cuts with a diverse list of artists from award-winning Canadian country stars Meghan Patrick, Don Amero & Twin Kennedy, to international pop stars like Nicole Scherzinger. As Associate Director of Publisher Engagement and Strategy at the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency, a SoundExchange company, Andrea brings a unique and holistic perspective - as a creator, educator, and music business analyst - to support CMRRA’s publisher and self-published songwriter clients.
