The ECMA Industry Conference ‘Our Music Means Business’ is the premiere destination for all Atlantic Canadian artists and industry professionals. It is a place for artists and members to connect with international guest delegates and educators, offer mentorship and be mentored by peers and industry experts, and ultimately elevate their careers.

The ECMA Conference Pass only grants entry to Conference Sessions and Panels and DOES NOT give access to any showcases or performances, including all special events.

MUSIC MANAGERS MENTORSHIP

Presented by MMF Canada

This mentorship program will provide emerging artist managers from Atlantic Canada with opportunities to gain valuable information, skills, expertise and resources from experienced artist managers.

There will be 2 pre-conference virtual sessions (to be scheduled in April 2024) as well as sessions and networking opportunities on the ground in Charlottetown during the ECMAs.

Space is limited this year and this particular program is for ARTIST MANAGERS ONLY.

MUSIC IN MOTION SYNC SUMMIT: MUSIC SUPERVISION 101

Pre-Conference Virtual Session

ECMA is pleased to present this virtual pre-conference workshop focused on music licensing and will take participants through the basics of music supervision and bring you into the minds of a Music Supervisor. This virtual session will be led by instinct entertainment's Michael Perlmutter who will share his creative process and provide insights and tips for getting your songs placed in film and television. This introductory workshop will cover the basics of music supervision, working with the film and TV communities and provide an opportunity to ask questions in order to demystify the process of licensing your music for film and TV. This is a 101 session and is not meant for those that are more experienced in sync and licensing deals.

This session will take place Wednesday, April 17, 2024 11:30AM-1:00PM Atlantic.
