The Chester Playhouse is both a community hub, and a steward of culture in our community. As a newly rebuilt, modern, accessible, comfortable, and professionally-equipped venue with 179 seats, and containing a small multi-purpose room appropriate for meetings and small gatherings, we are a gathering space where our community comes together. As a curator of live arts, we present a range of performances, including theatre, music, movies, comedy, variety performances, conversations, and community events, for the benefit, enjoyment, and enrichment of our broad community. We work to ensure that our offerings are varied, appeal to a broad demographic, and are affordable for all community members to attend.
