Representing Cape Breton Island, NS, Duane Nardocchio is the Executive Director of the Cape Breton Music Industry Cooperative (CBMIC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the local music industry for the past 17 years.

Now in his eight year with CBMIC, Duane brings over 34 years of experience in various facets of the music business. His extensive background includes touring as a stage technician and manager, providing freelance technical services, artist promotion and networking, operating a music venue, event planning, and songwriting and performing. Well-regarded as a self-employed industry veteran, Duane has played a vital role in shaping and supporting the Nova Scotia music scene.

Known for his dedication, vision, and relentless drive to foster musical growth, Duane is particularly passionate about helping others succeed in the industry. He has remained an active performer for the past 15 years, both as a solo artist and in duo configurations, while continuing to write and create original music.
