Jeremy VanSlyke is the owner and founder of the Canadian classical label Leaf Music, and is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a trained classical violinist and pianist and holds degrees in Sound Recording and Piano Performance from McGill University. After working as a full-time audio engineer at the Banff Centre, and a freelance recording engineer and editor on recordings released by Analekta, and Atma Classique, Jeremy established Leaf Music in 2012 as the first classical recording label in Atlantic Canada. Jeremy is also a former production manager of Symphony Nova Scotia and has lent his skills to TV shows, including The Nature of Things with David Suzuki, Mr. D, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Leadership at Dalhousie University’s Centre for Executive and Graduate Education in Halifax.
