Katrina Lopes is the president of KL Management, where she has led award-winning artists to industry success, earning accolades including a JUNO Award, SOCAN #1 Awards, and chart topping, and platinum-selling records. Her artists have toured with Backstreet Boys and Selena Gomez, and shared stages with NAO, John Legend, Nas, SWV, Van Hunt, Anderson Paak, and Drake, across major stages and audiences.

Her work at KL Management established her as an industry leader, recognized globally as an honouree on the Alternative Power 100 Music List, recipient of the ANSMA Industry Development Award, and the Women in Music Honours Award for Career Achievement.

Building on this foundation, she founded Maidie Music House, a full-scale artist development company in Nova Scotia built by and for Black talent. Rooted in African Nova Scotian heritage, the House champions excellence without compromise, builds community without competition, and creates pathways for lasting cultural and career legacy.
