Her musical collaborations, particularly singing background vocals for her cousin Reeny Smith, as well as Joel Plaskett, Matt Andersen and Michael Bublé have added a distinctive layer to her flourishing career. Micah has opened for renowned artists like Lisa Fischer, Jully Black, Alex Cuba, Daniel Caesar and Anderson Paak to name a few. Recognizing Micah's drive, dedication, and commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion, Music Nova Scotia, the largest music industry association in Canada, extended an invitation for her to join their team. This strategic move aims to fortify the relationship between the organization and the African Nova Scotian/Black Community, recognizing Micah as a pivotal figure capable of bridging the gap and amplifying the voices within this vibrant community. She has made it her mission to facilitate the growth of individuals, a commitment evident in her continuous learning, mentorships with industry professionals, and collaborations with both national and international festivals and organizations. Undeterred by challenges, In August 2023, Micah successfully launched the inaugural Crescendo Fest, an annual celebration of Black Music, Excellence, and Culture.
