Recently entrusted with the role of Artistic Director at the legendary Mariposa Folk Festival, Spencer is celebrating a sold-out debut season with the organization. At the same time, he continues in his role as Creative Director of Riverfest Elora, where he has been a driving force behind the festival’s remarkable growth since 2014. Together, these two events stand among Ontario’s most celebrated festivals.

Beyond his festival leadership, Spencer serves on the Board of Directors for the Elora Centre for the Arts and has previously held board positions with River & Sky Festival (Sudbury), Halifax Pop Explosion, Hillside Festival (2007–2012), and CFRU 93.3FM (2010, 2011). His extensive experience also includes roles as Artistic Director and Event Manager for Waterstock (2017) and 100 Mile Riot (2012, 2013), curator and manager of the Fortnight Music Series (2007–2016), and label manager for SunnyLane Records (2005–2008), among many other creative ventures.
