Berklee College of Music alumni, Stacey Read has worked both on stage and behind the scenes extensively for over 20 years in the Canadian Folk Music Industry. As an awarded East Coast Fiddler she has toured Australia to the North Pole and across North America; also teaching and developing Old Time Canadian fiddle programs in Canada’s North West Territories and in her New Brunswick home. In 2021 Read became co-owner of the historic performance space; The Sackville Music Barn. This 165 year old post and beam gem, boasts 250 capacity, licensing and rustic charm on 15 lush acres. Read is revitalizing its bluegrass, country and folk history with concerts and events. Read works with communities in southeastern NB as a programming consultant for live music events and is the co-founder of Levee on the Lake and Operations Director for this ECMA 2021/2022 Event of the Year.
