Hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Steve Butler is a Senior Agent at Paquin Artists Agency, playing a vital role in establishing the Agency’s reputation as a premiere, award-winning booking agency on the world stage. Steve joined the team in 2006 to oversee and grow the company’s North American Performing Arts sector and festival bookings. With over 15 years with the company and driven by his desire to foster the development of new talent while supporting our existing roster of world-class artists, Steve has garnered respect from the artists he works with, his co-workers, and the industry at large. Steve has been privileged to speak, host and participate in panels at conferences across the country including Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, Ontario Council of Folk Festivals, and East Coast Music Week. In 2017 Steve was awarded the Atlantic Presenters Association Achievement Award which is presented to a deserving individual who has made a significant contribution to the performing arts touring sector in Atlantic Canada, thereby furthering the objectives of the Association.
