Artistic Director of the prestigious Calgary Folk Club (1986 – present), International Folk Alliance Showcase Coordinator (1994 – 2006), Canadian Folk Music Awards Board Member (2010 – 2014), CFMA Gala Producer (2015-2016), promoter and emcee – Suze is a volunteer with no “vested interest” other than promoting music that makes a difference. An active advocate for musicians, she is an expert connector. Suze brings her expertise in the Personal Development arena – as a successful entrepreneur, and best-selling author of “Belief Re-patterning: The Amazing Technique for “Flipping the Switch” to Positive Thoughts (Hay House c. 2012). She loves supporting individuals in becoming their own “best selves”, and is an active awards juror, as well as a respected mentor and coach for musicians, agents and other promoters. The Calgary Folk Club is a listening room, presenting 13 shows Sept - April and is currently in its 52nd consecutive season.
