A passionate music enthusiast, Tamara has worked in arts management and community outreach for more than twenty years. Within the folk music world, Tamara has worn the hat of agent, artist manager, board member and festival executive director. In 2015, she founded Mavens Music, a full-service management company specializing in building internationally focused careers for folk, roots, and Americana artists. Her client roster includes: Corin Raymond, Kaia Kater, Basset, Mark Bragg and Lonesome Ace Stringband. She has participated as a panelist, showcase producer and mentor at Folk Alliance International, AmericanaFest, NERFA, APAP and the East Coast Music Week. In 2021, she founded the CreekSong Festival, a one-day outdoor event taking place on the banks of the Big Otter Creek in Vienna, Ontario.
