Úna Molloy is owner of Turning Pirate, a small, but potent agency in Ireland. Úna has helped develop the careers of artists like Lisa Hannigan, Ye Vagabonds, Booka Brass, Wallis Bird and is a big advocate for how important and accessible Ireland is on the global industry’s stage. She has booked tours for bands all in Ireland since 2006. Úna worked as a tour manager for 15 years, tour managing artists like Lisa Hannigan, James Vincent McMorrow, Natalie Merchant and Bell X1 across every continent. In recent years, Úna co-founded an events company called Hibernacle. Hibernacle events are focused on collaboration and artists and musicians coming together and creating unique moments both on and off stage. Úna is co-founder of Ireland’s ‘Live Music Collective’, a group of small to midsize independent venues in Ireland that came together to lobby for funding in order to successfully create employment and keep venues alive during Covid lock downs.
