Canada House Returns to UK Americana Music Week 2024

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA), Music/Musique New Brunswick (Music/Musique NB), Music Newfoundland and Labrador (MusicNL), Music Nova Scotia (Music NS), and Music Prince Edward Island (Music PEI) are pleased to partner with the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) to present Canada House at

Americana Music Week UK taking place in Hackney, London from January 22-25.

Canada House will feature two full nights of music showcases held at the legendary MOTH Club on January 23 and 24. Over the course of two-days 12 Canadian acts from across the country will get the chance to perform in front of Americana music buyers and industry tastemakers in the UK.

The “Canadian Music. East Coast Style. Spotlight” showcase on January 23 will feature New Brunswick’s Shaun Ferguson, Newfoundland & Labrador’s Quote The Raven, Kellie Loder, Nova Scotia’s Villages, and PEI’s Irish Mythen, and Joce Reyome. On January 24, CIMA and showcase partners, Alberta Music, Music BC, Manitoba Music, and MusicOntario will welcome a stellar line-up of artists from across the country.

Americana Music Week UK is a 4-day music industry conference, awards and music festival with nightly showcases featuring live Americana music from the United States, Austria, Spain, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Canada, Conference activities include panel discussions, round table sessions, targeted business meetings with key professionals, networking receptions, and more. Leading into AMAUK, the collective will also participate in a business development initiative in partnership with High Commision of Canada London and CIMA aimed to connect Canadian companies with key international delegates in a series of pre-scheduled business meetings and networking events.
